Get Academic Credit for an Internship

Already have an 实习? Enroll in an Internship Course to earn academic credit for your 实习! Currently enrolled PCC students can receive academic credit for their paid or unpaid 实习. Credits earned through the 实习 course are degree applicable and transferable to the California State University system.

Credit is awarded on the basis of objectives completed and the number of hours worked. 学生 need a minimum of 75 hours of paid work or 60 hours of unpaid work for each 信用单位. 学生 must have a prearranged work site and need approval for course 招生. 

Gather the following documents/information to get approved for an 实习 course:

1. Internship Offer Letter provided by the Host Organization
2. Internship Information
   • Supervisor’s name, email, and phone number
   • Organization’s name and address
   • Internship start date and end date
   • Total 实习 hours

Intern Pasadena

Are you thinking about applying to 实习s for the summer? Well you’ve come to the right place! This spring, you will have the opportunity to apply to Intern Pasadena, an 8-week paid summer 实习 program designed for our Lancers at Pasadena City College. By participating in the program interns will gain hands-on experience, expand their skills, and make meaningful connections in their chosen field while earning a competitive stipend.
